Junior Recruitment Specialist

Job Brief
We are looking for Junior Recruitment Specialists to undertake all hiring activities for a US based consulting firm, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing open positions. Job responsibilities include:

  • Connecting with potential candidates online and offline
  • Screening applications and supporting hiring managers
  • Sourcing and reaching out to qualified candidates for current open roles
  • Coordinating the hiring process end-to-end

    • Overall, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

      Responsibilities

    • • Create and publish job ads in various portals
    • • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media
    • • Screen resumes and job applications
    • • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
    • • Organize Interviews for candidates in-person/ online for a wide range of roles (Junior, Senior, and Executive)
    • • Ability to articulate open positions to candidates and also understand their expectations well across experience levels
    • • Continuous follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
    • • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
    • • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings

      Requirements

    • • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role
    • • Hands-on experience with job sites
    • • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and professional websites like LinkedIn
    • • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
    • • Strong interpersonal skills
    • • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • • Hands on experience with MS Excel & PowerPoint
    • • Ability to work independently and as a team member across IST/ US time zones

Go getter attitude is more valued than qualification, BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or relevant field is added plus
